In Te Maunga we have had Mr Lindsay as our teacher. It was so much fun! He basically let us do whatever we wanted to do in 30 minutes! Mihipeka and I made a presentation about Easter Island. We
got the information from google and google earth! Here is our presentation! Hope you enjoy!

My Writing
In Te Maunga we have been doing recounts. We could write about anything we did in the holidays of our choice!
Here is my writing:
Here is my writing:
On Friday, Nan, Will, Zara and I went to Waipapa to go skating. We went skating because we wanted to go outside and have fun! First, we went to the rink but too many people were there so we waited until 2.00 clock.
We went to the plant store to look at a couple of plants. I could just smell the beautiful blooming flowers. I could hear all the birds chirping , The water from the waterfall just flowing slowly down and also I could hear the bees BUZZING in my ear. We had a look at the frogs there. “ THERE AREN’T ANY FROGS!” said Will. “ Where are they?” I said to will and Zara. After we came out of the store, Zara and I couldn’t resist the big bags outside the exit.
Zara and I climbed into the small hole the bags formed in the middle. We figured out there were two forts made out of bags. When we had to leave, Zara got stuck inside the fort. I thought “ WHAT IS SHE GOING TO DO?!?!?!”. Eventually, with a lot of pulling and pulling and pulling and pulling, wait, did I say pulling?! She easily slipped out and made it in time for Makana!
At Makana we met up with my Nan’s old friend and when I say old I mean OLD! She was about like, hmmmmmmmm?, 99,00000000 maybe?! We got a strawberry sorbet ice-cream. It was Ginormous. You could just taste that delicious fresh tasty ice-cream. I could also feel it dripping down my hand as I held my ice-cream cone. I saw a REALLY rich ice-cream looking tub. It had chocolate swirls of ice-cream on top of ice-cream that had MORE swirls of ice-cream on it. It was crazy!
When we left Makana the last stop was the roller-skating rink! When we arrived I was so excited. We walked into the rink and saw so many people! I felt very nervous and also felt the ground smacking me when falling over. I could hear my bones cracking when I was doing the limbo there.
I definitely wanted to have some more adventures there again! But I also had another thought, It was that I needed a break from the holidays!
Hope you liked my recount! Stay tuned for more!
