In Te Ngahere we have been learning how to play the ukulele. We have a ukulele instructor helping us with this. Her name was Alison. This event takes place every Wednesday. Each class gets to go out to the whare and have 40 minutes to learn how to play. I had a very slight advantage because I know how to play guitar, So I kind of have the feel of it. There were at least 15 ukuleles on the ground, waiting for us to play them. I got the purple ukulele, not that it matters. Overall, it was super fun. We learnt how to move our fingers to different frets and strings. I think I did well with changing my fingers. I think I could have done better with my timing.
Kia ora Tia it’s me Tayla. I really like the way how you described the Ukulele lesson. Great job saying what you did well and what you need to work on. I like your blogpost about the ukulele lesson .
